During the Chucky panel at San Diego Comic-Con@Home, we’ve got a look at the first full-length trailer for the upcoming Chucky TV series! SyFy has released it online now for everybody to see.
The 3-minute trailer introduces us to the main character Jake (Zackary Arthur), a 14-year-old boy who finds a Good Guy doll at a local yard sale. Chucky (voiced again by Brad Dourif) goes on a rampage in the town. People from Chucky’s past will make an appearance like Jennifer Tilly who reveals the truth behind Chucky’s troubled past.
Chucky is produced by UCP and executive produced by creator Don Mancini, David Kirschner, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund and Harley Peyton. Mancini, who wrote and directed many of the sequels in the Child’s Play franchise, wrote the television adaptation and will direct the first episode and serves as showrunner.
